Hatfield & McCoy Arts Council
Blood Song: The Story of the Hatfields and the McCoys is an annually held play written by playwright Chelsea Marcantel. The play was commissioned in 2013 by the Hatfield & McCoy Arts Council and the Pike County Extension Fine Arts program. Each year, Blood Song is performed by local talent at the Hatfield & McCoy Park Theatre in McCarr, Kentucky-- the same city where much of the conflict of the original feud went down in history.
All 2016 show dates will be announced soon! If you are interested in becoming a part of the Hatfield & McCoy Arts Council or performing in Blood Song, contact Kimberly McCoy at (606) 371-0938 or Patti Whitt at (606) 427-8706.
